Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday offered a 2022 price range proposal of N191.6 billion tagged “Finances of Financial Re-Engineering” to the Home of Meeting.
The 2022 price range was offered to the lawmakers for scrutiny by the Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa who represented the governor.
The Governor mentioned “the 2022 Finances projections symbolize a rise of 9.59 p.c over the 2021 price range, therefore, the expansionary measures being pursued within the 2022 is fastidiously weighed choice to weigh-in into the resultant fiscal resurgence envisage in 2022.
The Governor famous that the 2022, authorities would leverage on assets to supply N44.000 billion from the monetary market as a way to speed up the tempo of growth and job creation within the state.
Within the price range, a complete sum of N79.621 billion has been budgeted for capital expenditure, N102.106 billion for recurrent expenditure, representing a rise of seven.15 p.c over the 2021 recurrent expenditure price range.
Responding, the Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun counseled Governor Akeredolu for numerous ongoing developmental initiatives throughout the state and handed over the price range proposal to the Home committee on Finance and Appropriation.
The Chairman, Home committee on Finance and Appropriation, Sunday Olajide who appreciated the well timed presentation of the price range proposal promised speedy consideration to its passage.
