An investigation is underway after a person was injured and a car was stolen in an aggravated break and enter within the Sutherland Shire in a single day.
About 3.30am (Monday 13 December 2021), emergency companies have been referred to as to a house on Holt Highway, Taren Level, after experiences of an assault and car theft.
Police have been instructed three unknown males gained entry to the house and stole a set of keys earlier than they have been confronted by a male occupant.
The person, aged 35, was struck within the shoulder with a metallic pole earlier than the males stole a white Toyota Corolla and fled the scene.
Officers hooked up to Sutherland Police Space Command attended and established a criminal offense scene.
The males are described as being of Mediterranean/ Center Jap look, between 20 and 30 years of age.
The occupant was handled for minor accidents.
