The Enugu State Police Command confirmed the assassination of Prof Samuel Ndubuisi, the managing director/chief govt of the Scientific Gear Growth Initiative, SEDI, on Wednesday in Enugu.
The Nationwide Company for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) manages the institute, which is positioned in Akwuke, Enugu.
Prof Ndubuisi was killed by unknown gunmen alongside Enugu Port-Harcourt expressway, very near the Centenary Metropolis, at about 1600hrs.

The deceased was a former dean of the College of Engineering at Enugu State College of Science and Know-how. He was a professor of physiology and biotechnology (ESUT).
Prof Ndubuisi and his orderly have been each killed. In keeping with a supply, his driver was injured and is presently receiving remedy in a hospital.
The State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, visited the scene of the accident.
