Govt permits onion export from January 1
The federal government on Monday allowed the export of onions with impact from January 1, 2021. In September, the federal government had prohibited the exports on account of spurt in costs.
“The export of all styles of onions…has been made free with impact from January 1, 2021,” the Directorate Common of Overseas Commerce stated in a notification.
