A deadline is approaching for eligible Fairfax Water clients struggling to pay their water payments to hunt reduction.
Fairfax Water stated it’s providing assist to its clients struggling to pay their water payments in the course of the coronavirus pandemic.
The nonprofit water utility stated eligible residents can apply for financial assistance through the COVID-19 Municipal Utility Aid Program by Wednesday, Dec. 30.
Fairfax Water stated it’s working with Fairfax County, the Metropolis of Falls Church, and the Metropolis of Fairfax to manage funds obtained from the state.
The Prince William County Service Authority, that county’s water utility, is offering financial aid for customers who’ve suffered a lack of earnings in the course of the coronavirus pandemic, too.
Virginia ended a moratorium on utility disconnections for missed funds back in October.
