KUWAIT, Aug 18 (Reuters) – Kuwaiti Finance Minister Khalifa Hamade has supplied his resignation to the prime minister of the oil-rich Gulf emirate, a authorities supply stated on Wednesday.
The minister continues to carry out his duties, pending a call of the prime minister, and can attend a cupboard assembly afterward Wednesday, the supply stated.
Native newspapers al-Jarida, al-Qabas and al-Rai reported the information of Hamade tendering his resignation earlier.
The minister couldn’t be reached for remark.
