SALISBURY — Town of Salisbury on Wednesday introduced Wade Furches will likely be its new finance director.
Furches has served because the interim finance director for a couple of month following the departure of former Director Shannon Moore, who took a job elsewhere in July. Moore was promoted to the director function in 2018.
Furches joined the Finance Division in 1998 as an accounting supervisor and was promoted to finance supervisor in 2006. In that function, he managed day-to-day monetary operations, the final ledger, payroll, accounts payable and town’s funding portfolio.
“Wade has great institutional data of Salisbury’s funds, each day-to-day and long-term, which makes him greater than certified to guide our finance workforce,” Bailey stated in an announcement. “Within the midst of our administrative transitions, I’m assured that Wade will proceed to guide Salisbury’s constructive monetary path ahead.”
