A College of Iowa professor of civil and environmental engineering was honored with the Excellent Contribution Award as a part of the United States-Korea Convention: Sustainable Development & The Future.

Hosin “David” Lee
Hosin “David” Lee, a local of South Korea, was chosen by the honors and awards committee of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Affiliation (KSEA). The award is given to 1 individual yearly with each an impressive skilled profession and vital contributions to KSEA.
Lee directs the Laboratory for Advanced Construction Technology (LACT) at the Iowa Expertise Institute, which is a part of the UI Faculty of Engineering. He researches new applied sciences in transportation engineering, sustainable civil infrastructure design, civil and building supplies, and sustainable pavement supplies.
